Roots Music Shop is a musician’s music shop—whether you’re a soon-to-be beginner or an established pro.  We buy, sell or trade instruments. And we’re working hard to support the heritage, art, and music of our community in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Think of it as music based in the traditions of the American experience. It’s an ethnic, geographical and cultural scrapbook of our heritage. It’s country, rhythm and blues, folk, gospel, Cajun, zydeco, Tejano, Native American, jazz, boogie woogie, rock and roll, bluegrass, western swing, and polka.
