What is American Roots Music?
Think of it as music based in the traditions of the American experience. It’s an ethnic, geographical and cultural scrapbook of our heritage. It’s country, rhythm and blues, folk, gospel, Cajun, zydeco, Tejano, Native American, jazz, boogie woogie, rock and roll, bluegrass, western swing, and polka.
