This summer’s Art on the Plaza concert series kicks off Friday, June 1 from 7 – 10 p.m. at Union Plaza at 21st and Q Streets. Different local artists and bands will be featured every other Friday through Oct. 5th 2018.
This year Art on the Plaza will be included with Lincoln Parks & Rec’s Party in the Parks events. The ten-show series is free and open to the public. A free-will offering helps support the performing musicians. The mission of the concert series is to celebrate Lincoln’s talented and diverse Arts Community with family friendly musical performances at a pleasurable volume.
A variety of media including photography, sculptures and paintings will be on display by local artists.
Bands include musical genres of jazz, reggae, rock, tribal, hip hop, bluegrass and more!
